Microsoft® Excel DDE

OEC is pleased to offer the ability to trade from Microsoft® Excel with DDE. The primary function of DDE is to allow Windows applications to share data. For example, a cell in Microsoft® Excel can be linked to a value or data point in the OEC Trader. When the value or data point changes, it is automatically updated in the Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet. All of the functions available in the OEC API are now directly accessible in Microsoft® Excel.

Note:

Microsoft® Excel 2003 has a bug that does not allow Microsoft® Excel Add-In to load. Before installing the OEC Trader Microsoft® Excel Add-In the user should update Microsoft® Excel 2003 via "Microsoft Update" site or download and install the Update for Office 2003 (KB907417).
