RSS News Feed

Open E Cry is proud to offer RSS Financial News Feeds through OEC Trader. Discover the latest news and updates for any Open E Cry offered contract.

First, install the "RSS Financial News Plug-In" by opening the plug-in and selecting "Run". Now login and open your OEC Trader software. To receive the RSS feed within your Trader platform, right-click on your preferred contract. An options menu will appear and you will left-click on "Financial News". An additional window will open with the latest news and information about your specific contract. Just double click to read any article.

You can also choose your preferred "RSS Financial News Feed" by going to the OEC Trader menu at the top of your window, and left-clicking on "View". Then scroll down and select "Financial News". You will be given the choice to select "New" or open an existing news feed. If you are adding a new contract, a dialogue window will open and allow you to enter your preferred contract. Once the contract is entered, a separate window will open with the latest news articles about that specific contract. To read an article, just double click.

Add the "RSS Financial News Feed" to your DOM or Chart by right-clicking on the DOM or Charts toolbar. Select "Configure" and select "Financial News" from the "Plug-In" category. Then click and drag "Financial News" into the toolbar. Once the button is in the toolbar, left-click and the latest news about the displayed contract will open in a new window. Once again, just double click on the article to read.
